Emirates NBD Boosts Customer Support with Extended Fee Waivers and 0% Transfer Deals

One of the UAE’s leading banks has announced an extension of its customer support programme, introducing a range of fee waivers and flexible payment options designed to help individuals and businesses better manage their finances in the months ahead.

The updated package includes an additional grace period before instalment billing begins, along with zero per cent interest on credit card balance transfers. Customers can also benefit from waived processing fees on selected instalment plans for a limited period, making it easier to spread payments without extra cost.

Further relief measures include the removal of certain service charges, such as fees associated with payment deferment requests. These adjustments aim to provide greater flexibility for customers who may need more time to organise their financial commitments.

In addition to these changes, the bank is offering complimentary services to improve everyday banking convenience. Customers can access free cash withdrawals across the UAE and other GCC countries, as well as free delivery for debit card replacements both locally and internationally. These benefits are available for a defined period, encouraging customers to take advantage of the added flexibility.

To improve access to funds, the bank has also temporarily increased the daily withdrawal limit on debit cards. This adjustment is intended to provide customers with greater liquidity, particularly during periods when immediate access to cash may be important.

The support initiative reflects a broader trend within the UAE banking sector, where financial institutions are introducing customer-focused measures to enhance flexibility and maintain stability. Across the market, similar programmes have emerged, offering features such as flexible repayment options, preferential rates, and added banking benefits.

Industry observers note that these initiatives are aligned with ongoing efforts to strengthen confidence in the financial system while supporting both individual customers and small businesses. By reducing certain costs and offering more adaptable payment structures, banks aim to ease financial pressures and encourage more efficient money management.

Overall, the expanded programme highlights a continued focus on customer support and financial accessibility, reinforcing the UAE’s position as a stable and responsive banking environment.
